Papal going HD Productions for the best views of the Holy See

Bowers Ben posted November 23rd 2010 8: 15 PM : the Vatican has recently unveiled a new six million HD handset, hinting that if seeing is believing, they would prefer 1080p representation. To help blunt the cost on the nation's coffers, the Knights of Columbus promised one million euros to the initiative (1.36 million) while Sony also cut murata-enclave a discount corresponding--possibly as another mea culpa for the scene of the shooting Manchester. New equipment is expected to be fully operational just in time for Christmas broadcasts of the Pope and from then on would be laminated during special events in the Vatican. Thinking ahead to the future, the system is also designed to be easily updatable 3D, as head of Sony Italy Gildas Pelliet was sure to mention "can be done in a very discreet, thin" while still engage future audience with the Pope's message. Combined with his habits of texting, a YouTube channel recently and the online portal of Pope2You, Pope Benedict XIV has done a lot in his term of Office of five years to help one of the oldest institutions of get up to speed with today's technology--, let alone for a man of 83.

Linksys Media Extender suddenly stopped working, Cisco did pull the plug?

Tim Stevens sent November 6th 2010 9: 46 AM Linksys Media Extenders suddenly stop working, did Cisco pull the plug?: was halcyon summer of 2009. Has been established for the Hubble Space Telescope, Helio Castroneves won Indy 500, Somali pirates were really doing their thing and Linksys decided it was time to pull the plug, DMA2100 and DMA2200 Media Center Extender. The production was ceased and that was that ... or so we thought. Now we are hearing reports that dozens of those extensions mysteriously stopped working in recent days, and in fact a above threads with the green button is full of hundreds rightly disgruntled users. Thanks to a lot of inquiries from members was determined that the boxes are trying to compose in house to an address that no longer exists. Of course this is causing wild speculation on DRM controls and Windows remotely disabled, but for now there are some add-ons manual work, including router configuration to explicitly block any traffic from the extension or simply assign a bad gateway. This seems to work for many, but not for everyone. We reached to get official word from Cisco on what is here, but until we hear back feel free to post more enticing conspiracy theories in the comments below.

VIZIO HDTV 3D show sporting a discount retail

Evan reader noticed this 55-incher Costco with a price of $ 1,999, a few hundred dollars off the initial price. We still see some of those specific 3D generated, but with a rather significant price advantage over similar televisions from other manufacturers as Sony we're thinking there's some room in there to snatch them separately if one is so inclined.

Apogee HDMI 3 x 1 Mini Switcher v1 3b Full HD 1080p 25 m amplified with external IR remote control receiver

HDMI 3 port Mini Switch HDTV digital video Switcher v1.3b – 25 m amplified c/external IR receiver with remote control, HDCP: HDMISWM (Gold-Plated, retail)

4 Stars Exactly as advertised
For about $ 20, my expectations were not very high, but this product has done everything what the description says it will do. There are three HDMI inputs on the "front" and an output in the "back" (front and rear distinctions are, in its sole discretion).Just connect your devices and then connect to your television or other device upstream video display box takes care of switching back and forth, or you can use remote included 3-button to change manually.

Everything works perfectly. The device take about 30 seconds to realize that my Xbox 360 was off, but don't know if this is the fault of the box or if the 360 HDMI port not close until the final moment.

5 starsWorks like a charm!
Very nice Unit for a very reasonable price. Does work as advertised. small size is useful for those with an aversion disorder.

Panasonic VIERA S1 Series TC P65S1 65 Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV Black

High definition is more than mere pixels. It’s all about visual quality. Plasma TV offers higher contrast and deeper color than LCD screens. With a screen at a class of 65?, you’ll observe a new concept of HDTV entertainment that rivals anything else. Why go to the movies when you’ve got this Viera TV! The Panasonic TC-P58S1 65? Class Viera S1 Series Plasma 1080p HDTV brings a giant 64.7-inch class (diagonal) wide screen to bring sports, movies, and TV into your home with in-your-face realism. LCD is lighter in weight and a little more energy efficient but, when it comes to visual quality, most LCD screens seem pale in comparison. That’s why, when it comes to appreciating the qualities of HDTV and Blu-Ray, this Panasonic Viera plasma TV is a better buy. There are also some distinct features worth appreciating. 600Hz technology lets you view superb full-HD motion and still images with 1,080 lines of resolution (per APDC). For even greater clarity with motion images, Panasonic uses its own unique image-analysis technology. This technology converts the motion in each scene into data. And each frame is practically displayed for a shorter length of time than in previous systems, to reduce aftereffects. It’s easy to view full-HD images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos right after you take them. Simply insert an SD card into VIERA to display photos on the large screen. You can also choose from among 3 types of background music and 4 display effects. It’s much more fun when you can view them on a large-screen HDTV with family and friends in 1920 x 1080-pixel high definition and a wide 16:9 aspect ratio. 5 Stars Bigger Is Better
I have had this plasma display for a week now. Great picture (particularly with blu-ray movies), and an amazing price. Don’t be fooled that LCD is better because it appears “brighter”. Plasma has a more cinematic feel to it.

Think 65 inches is too big? Think again. If you sit at least 8 or 9 feet away when viewing, this display will knock your socks off. To me it makes more sense to go big and get the real benefit of high definition. Just a few years ago a TV like this would cost $15,000+ and not look as good as this unit. Pull the trigger, and get it while the price is right.

5 Stars Just one word … WOW!
I have had this 65 inch plasma since 10/1/2009. So far everything has been outstanding, from the great price I got at the time and the white glove delivery service. They set up the TV in my media room, hooked it up, turned it on and WOW!

My TV is installed in a windowless room, and the picture is out of this world. I see absolutely no reason to have it professionally calibrated as the picture is outstanding. The picture is more than bright enough, even in a well lit room, if you need to up the brightness and contrast. There are no reflections, but then again I watch with no lights on … the 65 inch screen provides enough light.

I am glad I went with the 65 inch model … my other choice was the 58V model … and I am glad I went with the 65S model. The picture is breathtaking … almost 3D at times. Great depth … great and viberant colors, and the picture clarity is awesome with high definition input.

With my Cable, the HD channels are awe inspiring, and I am glad there are a lot of them as the standard definition channels are no match to them, and after watching hours of HD channels I don’t even want to watch the standard channels anymore.

So far no problems with the set, and I am 100% satisfied with the TV, Amazon, the price I paid, and the delivery. All in all a truely wonderful experience.

My room size is 16 foot by 19 foot with 10 foot ceilings, and I currently sit about 14 feet away from the screen. Anything less than 65 inches would have disappointed me.

Don’t worry about 65 inches being too big in a room this size, it isn’t. And don’t worry about professional calibration services as I see absolutely nothing wrong with the picture.

5 Stars Great overall value and HD set!
Simple review… Amazon’s price was great (with free blu-ray player to boot), shipping was free, and it was white glove, right to my living room. The shipping company called and scheduled a delivery, showed up within the window, and I dropped them a nice tip. Now the set is a monster. If you have the room, get this set! Pic quality is outstanding, and the plasma blacks are great. By far the best value going right now for a 65? hdtv. The v10 model of this has some nice features, but not worth $1200 more to me.

5 Stars I am never leaving the house!
I hooked up the satellite equipment, hooked up my stereo, plugged it in, and WHOA! I just sit there for hours staring at it. I can just imagine how it will look when I turn it on! JK! I couldn’t have asked for more. It is so beautiful. The picture is as clear as I could ask for. Sometimes it’s almost 3D. Honestly, I was dozing off and there was a show on about space exploration and for a second when I woke up I thought I was in the cockpit of the spaceship soaring through space. It took me a few seconds to get back to the reality that I was looking at the TV, lol. Blu-ray really shines on this TV! This is by far one of the most amazing things I’ve every owned.

5 Stars The Best Plasma TV Out there
I bought this TV on August 30 and got it delivered on Sept 10. It’s a big set that needs to be delivered on trucks, not UPS. The seller communicates via email to update the status of your order. A day before the delivery date, the truck guys will call and confirm the hours, typically a four-hour window for them to show up. Now, there is something that I think a prospective buyer wants to keep in mind. TV of this size is not easily transported. So it’s the policy of the vendor, and probably industry-wide (because I’ve checked several vendors and that they all said the same thing), that you CAN’T RETURN IT if you don’t fell like it. In other word, don’t just buy it because you just want to check it out. The vendor will take it back if and only if it is 1) defective or 2) broken. So it’s crucial that once it’s delivered and while the delivery guys are still there, please open it up. Plug it in and make sure it work. In other word, do a thorough inspection. Because once these guys leave, you pretty much own it for good.

Now, comes the TV. This is a great set par none for its price. A quick walk through your local Best Buy will tell you that. I’ve seen TV’s a lot smaller and much less sophisticated got sold for prices very close to this set’s. Some of those are not very well known brands. The TV is not that heavy at all. The listing weight, according to Amazon is 175 shipping and 145, is not correct. Although I don’t know its shipping weight, the set itself is 90 lbs (yeah..this isn’t a typo). I’m a fairly small guy (5'7) and my brother’s (5'8), and we both were able to pick it up and set it on the console without breaking a sweat. The hookup is straight forward. Just find the right connection and plug it in. Very much self-explanatory. The remote doesn’t look that intimidating either. I mean if you’ve played around w/ electronic equipments, you don’t need to read the manual. Play around w/ a few keys and you’ll get it. It’s realllyyyyyy simpleeeee. I had mine hooked up to Direct TV w/ the premium package (Football package). So I’m able to watch fairly large number of HD channels. And …yes….it is…………awesome..yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh…

As with plasma TV, I’m sure we all know that it should be in a dark room because plasma screens tend to reflect light. Mine is a bit close to the window. Although I try to shut down all the blinds when I watch football on Sundays, a tiny bit of reflection is still visible. The best show is at night. Dim the lights and you will be amazed at its clarity. As for the speakers, don’t bother. You’re not buying this TV for its speakers. So why even bother to turn it on? All TV speakers sucks. Period. If you were willing to spend this much dough on a TV, do yourself a favor. Go big w/ speakers. Speakers nowaday are relatively cheap. You can easily get a decent pair of speakers for a couple hundred dollars. I currently have mine set up w/ the Yamaha speaker bar. It’s not the best, but decent enough for both regular TV reviewing and some action movies. The real nirvana will come when I save enough $$$ for a pair of Martin Logan.

Go ahead & Buy it. I guarantee you won’t regret. Be sure to buy it from Amazon. Their service is great.

4 Stars Excellent HD image and excellent service from Crutchfield
Firstly let me say that I'm impressed as with Crutchfield. When I bought this unit through Amazon, I didn't really pay much attention to what the actual seller was since receiving the standard free shipping. I bought this on a Saturday morning. With in 2 hours I got a call from Crutchfield thanking me for my purchase and explaining how the unit would be sent, etc. I was very impressed with this and would absolutely buy Crutchfield in the future.

As for Samsung – the image is big with the HD. I have it essentially for sports and HD channels is great. Some of the standard definition channels are not so spectacular, but not necessarily think it's a failure from Samsung, I think it's more a matter of DirecTV. I have a problem giving everything 5 stars, but if you are looking for a LCD this Ribbon size you should take a look at this one.

2 Stars disappointed
I think my other samsung should be cause of 120 mhz the image is not nearly as good as my samsung two year old. wonder if I can return it for a better model?I mean, she pic is OK, but not even close to my samsung 46 two years ago I just assumed that any new model would be better.

4 StarsSamsung 40 inch 1080p LCD HDTV
This is a great TV. The only thing I found disappointing is the particular model that I bought didn't come with entries aside to connect your digital camera or camcorder etc. Getting back of TV is an inconvenience and it also results in fewer input options.

Is my first flat, so I wasn't aware that this would be a problem.

4 StarsBuy fantastic!
I had this TV for about a month now and it is very good.He has superb clarity and the colors are vibrant.Definitely on par or better than the Sony and LG, especially for the price. My only negative comment is sound.Maybe I'm going deaf or my space is too big, but I have to pump up the volume much larger than I'm used to … I added my speakers Bose fear of busting the TV's TV in General, great!

5 stars around winner.
Big Tv. great price for what you get. image is fantastic-crisp and bright colors, the definition is sharp for every color/grayscale. I have direcTV HD. Cant see how much better this image will stay but definitely going to bridge the game for several years. I don't use another built in features like games the word abt them. sound is solid. normal view is about 25% of the limit. tones are balanced and clear sound greater cross to a stereo receiver. a sound peculiarity – automatic volume adjustment takes few seconds to kick in, but that is nit-picking.

5 StarsSony Is Great But Now Looking For Large Plasma …
The Sony KDL-32XBR9 purchased from Amazon is excellent and so was the cost, but now looking for a large screen Plasma for Basement Family Room. Anyone have any suggestions, like Samsung or Panasonic and which model?

5 Stars Great LCD TV!
I recently upgraded from my old CRT TV and have been completely satisfied with my purchase. We did compare LCD TVs in the showroom and the Sony Bravia clearly had the best picture. It had sharp detail and the best blacks of all the brands. The only weakness is the sound because of the small speakers but there is an output so I can use my stereo system and it sounds great. If you have home theatre system that will work as well.

5 StarsBeautiful and High Quality
I love this TV. I'm sure I would feel differently had I not updated the firmware before I even tried to use it, but since I did — I LOVE THIS TV!I am going to try to put the link for the update at the bottom of this review, but Amazon may have a policy to delete links in reviews. If this happens, then go to [...] and follow the links for this model. You'll eventually find the update.Download it to a jump drive and plug it into the service port (the only one that'll take USB) with the TV off, then turn the TV on and things will take care of themselves.

[...]

UPDATE

Okay, so Amazon did delete everything. That's okay — you know Sony has a website.

5 Stars Finally Got it …Love it!
So I finally got this TV is the multi reason based using. I just replaced my G5 with a Mac Pro and got a PS3 slim for the bed room as well while the older PS3 is hooked up to our 60? Sony SXRD. I needed a larger monitor for my Mac Pro, but also wanted the TV for the room and we were originally going to go with the 24? Cinema display from Apple. Amazing unit but is only for the computer and that is it.With that said, I turned to Sony.

The XBR9 does a great job with blacks and colors so when my Mac is running and im in Final Cut or iPhoto, the picture quality is great (I went DVI to HDMI) and when I switch the input over to the PS3 (HDMI), everything continues to look fantastic. So Games/Blu-ray and TV are great.

Again, I have to stress though like other reviewers, the XBR9 does not look as good as the XBR8 because its lower in the series!I mean look at the price difference for the love of god.So please, dont think that somehow Sony has gone back in their mindset.Just 2 different series.

5 Stars sony lcd tv
Great product, I really love hd. Spend the extra money for top of the line you won't be disapointed.Works perfect with my antenna over the air, if not better than direct tv.Save 30% from retail.Shipping was to my door, open box and plug in for free, beat that.I will trade with them again.

5 stars leal Samsung buyer
I started with a Samsung phone for several years and have stayed with eles.so.eu chose a Samsung for my new TV. So far, is very good.

5 star belo television
I buy this TV two weeks ago and love the picture I put it in my kitchen and this definitely serves its purpose. I'm usually a buyer Sony-and still am-but I thought it would be a great TV looks for my kitchen. It was definitely worth the money for its purpose.

1 starWorked through the warrenty of 90 days, then ...
This TV worked like a charm until about a week after its 90-day warranty. Then he started randomly disconnect (3-4 times in an hour) with the only method to turn it on again and pull it out of the wall, wait 10 seconds and replace. It just might be that a set, but this ordeal has a bitter taste in the mouth. I won't be buying a TV Samsung again.

5 starsJust the right amount of TV for those who hardly watch
It was with reluctance that I moved into the 21st century managed TVs. make so little before June 12.Now that we have this set we really see it more often than the old one (13) one.We use an antenna floor and finally you can watch the local PBS station. All seasons old but one of them now come in very well. The photos are very clear.Had to play with the installation, but I have managed very well and I'm satisfied. We do not have cable TV.

4 StarsSamsung LN22B460
I just bought Samsung LN22B460 and I am very pleased with this product. the previous reviews that I read were very accurate. the image is very clean and the colors are great, especially in high definition. If you don't see HD channels is very easy to adjust the colors to get the image you're looking. designing was very easy. just open the box and turn it on. not much reading, you can find out how to configure the colors, channel selection, sound, etc.

The sound is terrible that some of the other opinions stated, but could have a little deeper end to give an impulse. I'll probably buy speakers to add as I don't have to configure through a sound system.

Samsung's I've owned several over the years and feel that they have a great product.

In short, I would highly recommend this t.v.

Opteka 32-60 inch plasma and LCD TV Double Arm Swivel Tilt Wall Mount for HDTV displays Black

Opteka 32-60 inch plasma and LCD TV Double Arm Swivel Tilt Wall Mount for HDTV displays Black

With this versatile wall mount, there is a bad place in the House. The arm articulate, it attaches to any wall, creates the perfect viewing angle for the TV with lateral 180 degrees of rotation, tilt and swivel. articulation LCD dual wall ARM supports most 32 up to 60? plasma TV and stores up to 175 pounds bonus 6 ' HDMI cable and screen LCD/plasma cleaning kit included with this lot of TV.

3 StarsEasy, but some peculiarities.
When he arrived, I realized immediately that thing is huge and heavy, which makes it very easy to switch off by itself. I got it up ok and I love it except for some peculiarities.

-When completely collapsed, the annex to the TV is not in the middle of the Bunch.

-Hanging on Mount your tv is piece of cake, but if its not exactly in the middle of the Assembly, he leans to the side and cannot be resolved by screws.

-to ensure that your TV caia on Mount, it uses two screws. They are a pain to screw in.

-The whole thing is very heavy and you have to extend the arm to the bolt on the wall thing. Requires at least 2 persons, 3 preferred.

5 starsGreat Wall Mount
I bought this wall mount because it was the cheapest and most solid looking mounting that I could find. I used to ride my 42-inch Samsung Plasma. It takes two people and some tools to get this setting thing but once the work is done, you will be satisfied. Looks great, feels solid and allows you to move your TV up, down, left, right, forward and backward. I wish he could tilt up and down a few degrees extras but otherwise its a great Assembly.Bottom line, best editing you can find the price for flat TV's 40 inches and up.

5 stars Love my wall mounted TV
This wall mount is perfect. I rode my 42 TV LG weighing 75 kg.The mount rose in 30 minutes, using only the hardware included. The Assembly is safe and I feel safer with my TV $ 1200 it. I saved a lot of money coming with this Assembly and you must do the same!

5 starsScott, Milwaukee, WI
I am very pleased with this product I ordered two to hang Phillips corresponding 47 LCD/tile in our living room. They arrived 5-7 days and were in perfect condition, nothing is damaged or missing. They each approximately 30-35 kg body weight and holding my TV 45 pounds without problems for a few weeks now.

I have articulated mounts, then we would give options.Only one of them is pulled a few centimetres away and angular. I haven't noticed any sagging or other problems. We haven't been pulling it away from the wall, so I have not tested them that way.

They were pretty simple to put up. all you need is a drill, drill bits and a wrench set ratchting or old style key set if you like working hard and screw drivers. If you have the attachment of the right size for you analyze, could fly through it. I put the mounts up myself, but I had my wife help me to put the TV about mounting just to be safe. Moreover, it has a level of item, but I still used my own.I don't trust those tiny levels.

The mounts were much cheaper than what I saw on Sam's Club ($ 160) and Best Buy, which were further and climbed to 400-500 each.

I was a difficult choice for me between mounting Cheetah like this, but I think I made the right one.

5 starsMonte grande, no complaints
As others have said, this thing is most definitely heavy. is it possible to disassemble the Assembly so that you can only deal with the wall, but since I had my roommate help me, did not bother with this.

This Assembly was a nightmare but only because my stud finder sucks. I borrowed two other inventors Stud and all they gave me different readings-was really frustrating. Furthermore, my apartment has not gap 16 inch or 24 inch standard between nails. the two studs, I finally found were 14 centimeters Center to Center. Fortunately, wall mount has multiple slots for the screws. once I had holes drilled, the rest was a breeze.

Others have complained about the instructions, but I don't see a big problem there – the diagrams show pretty much everything you need to do.

I used 2 levels and found that the TV card-side was off by a good 10-15 degrees. Fortunately, the designers put 5 hexagonal that allow you to adjust the pitch.

Unfortunately due to issues of stud I wasn't able to mount it in the center of my wall. But I was able to move his arms to the right and hang-the right of Centre in Mount-those centralized it combined. now, I'm hanging a 46-inch LCD HDTV and have noticed without sagging.

Mounting is very hard, difficult to pass, but I see it as a plus since it makes it seem more resistant.

ViewSonic VT2430 24 Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

ViewSonic VT2430 24 inch 1080p LCD HDTV

Feel the action in movies, games and sports in the VT2430 Widescreen 24? LCD HDTV. Resolution of 1080p Full HD offers 100% of your HD signal for extremely accurate images. Combines high brightness with dynamic contrast ratio 10.000: 1 definition unmatched and detail. Super-fast video response and advanced image processing ensures extreme clarity throughout your HD entertainment, movies, sports and games. The tuner NTSC/ATSC/QAM integrated and Multiple connectivity including HDMI 1.3 give you all the entries that you need for computers, game consoles and DVD players, and Blu-ray. maximum enjoyment on their smaller spaces or on your desktop with VT2430 HDTV LCD elegant and versatile.

3 Stars Issues of headphone socket
This is a nice unit and had no problems configuring it where I wanted. It is light and pleasant to which she sits on top of TiVo and DVD players.

I was disappointed with the actual size of the image, since I had measured diagonally our previous tube TV and determined replacement LCD based on this, but did not take into account the fact that the measure diagonal size of LCD screen based on your form of wide-screen and therefore the measurement height would be smaller than our current TV screen. So watch out for that if you are replacing something that you already have for the room for example. I finally uploaded this TV back and replace it with a 32 hence and headphone jack.

Since the fourth occasionally still was watching TV show after my wife had fallen asleep, so I used the headphone socket a few times to listen without disturbing it. Then maybe 5 times using this socket (with a pair of headphones Sony), removing the headphone plug is no longer returned sound from loudspeakers. it seems that the headphone socket has apparently been stuck in the open position even after removing the plug.I called ViewSonic support and they were not able to help. they gave me a case number and said he would call back with a number of discards. five days later gave up on them and just got a number of discards of J & R (the store he was actually sent by) that would be very useful and since I was within 30 days had no problem taking it back. as I write this, I'm waiting for the credit to my account and I know arrived yesterday in their offices, but this looks like it will be a problem.

So, in summary, I suggest that you take note of the actual height of the screen, not just the diagonal measurement to replace the existing TV if you have one, and if you will ever use the headphone socket, you should be fine with this model, which was perfectly good looks, good image and sound good for a small drive. Obviously, many people say 1080p this size is not even noticeable and I have to agree and most shows are delivered in HD 720 p so you won't see much of a gain more 720 p models, unless you want to watch Blu-Ray, I hope.

5 starsTV great arround all but difficult inputs
Every thing about this TV is great picture, sound, good surround sound, and good menu resource monitor size. the only thing is how to connect the different inputs. You have to make little turnig the flexion and connect one cable it on the back.

2 Stars poor sharpness, no definition
After reading the good reviews, I brought this drive a few weeks ago. I'm using it only for TV and I have it connected to my Comcast cable. The color is good and natural quality of speaker is so-so, but surprisingly, it can be very high. I use it in the kitchen and have to set it at about 20%.Otherwise, it will be very high.

For no apparent reason, the unit has received no cable signal after a week. I noticed that when I turn it on, the wallpaper of ViewSonic, three birds appears in gray. I tested by hooking it up to your PC, same thing didn't happen, no sign of PC either. But after a few connecting and disconnecting, miraculously, the color and the signal returned. It was another week, so far so good.I hope it's not some loose wires within the unit that caused the problem.

Anyway, my main complaint is that the image on this drive has absolutely no definition, don't know if it's because I don't have HD channel or what, but the image quality is mixing so my old Samsung TV box image is better. Is especially bad in coloured objects, you see only one colour correction and not much else.

5 starsBig TV, monitor even better
I chose this TV because I live in a Studio and does not have enough space for a TV screen and a computer screen.I was already using my computer to watch movies and live without a TV, but only so much is available online (particularly events live) Was very difficult to find a screen with resolution high enough to work as a computer monitor, but this TV was a perfect combination!

Firstly, in the attributes of TV, the picture quality is great and many HD channels does not give me an option to "zoom" and fill the screen if necessary.I also have a 20 year old Nintendo and an Atari 25 year of age, another reason to start TV, that fantastic job and automatically stretch to fill the entire widescreen without much distortion. My only complaints are management of channels is a bit clumsy and the blue power button to the right in front is a little distraction. Sound also is mediocre, but obviously you won't find speakers $ 500 on a $ 300 TV. TV output through my speakers stereo receiver and the sound is very much better.

As a computer monitor this TV really stands. resolution is consistent with what you'd find in a widescreen standard, so there are no blurring together with the output of a signal through a standard CRT monitor also after several LCDs over the years this is my first with no dead pixels. great job of ViewSonic in quality control. I haven't tried the game yet, I probably wouldn't push it anyway, but just as if I had a DVD player connected directly to the TV output movies on DVD. simply perfect around as a monitor, although if you use Windows I suggest to change the theme to one that allows extra large fonts if you're strabismus.

5 starsGood business!
The only beef I have with this product is the lack of easy connections. everything is at the bottom that require tipping over TV to connect anything. I really like the possibility to adjust the appearance of remote control Viewer, adjust easily between wide-screen modes and 4: 3. for the price, this unit is great! I would have given "stars of 6?.If the connections for additional sources had been more convenient

5 EstrelasTV grande

AT & T * has released the following statement to update its customers:

We are very disappointed that Scripps Networks do not provide fair treatment for AT&T customers. Our team has worked for weeks to reach a fair agreement, Scripps Networks but ultimately refused to put key words of Scripture that had been agreed verbally, leaving customers without fair treatment as our extended contract expired.

Unfortunately, this is yet another example of a network of punishing their spectators for leverage in negotiations of Scripps Networks programming. is demanding that AT&T double pay what other competitors pay-including affiliates of small sizes-and has yet to provide a proposal which gives AT&T a choice in the channels bring us and pay, despite repeated requests.

Scripps Networks also wants this premium price for access to their lower content for our clients on other platforms, although other competitors get this at much lower prices. We will continue to strive for a fair return these channels to our lineup, because our customers deserve the programming they want, at a fair price.

AT&T U-verse refuses to extension at the end of the year; choose to drop fan favorite HGTV, Food Network and other networks of families from its channel lineup

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Friday, November 5, 2010) – in a surprising move after weeks of negotiations positives, AT&T U-verse rejected a third extension offered by Scripps Networks that maintain networks network friendly families HGTV, DIY, Food Network, channel hob and great American country on air while negotiations continued. decision AT&T dislocates the service customers to 2.7 million telecom provider, leaving them without some of the most popular lifestyle television networks.

"Let me start by saying this impasse is not about money," said John Lansing, President of Scripps Networks. "We reached an agreement in principle with AT&T U-verse deployment fees that would receive for these networks well before the expiry of the contract of the last month. "

Lansing added that AT&T refused an offer on Friday morning to extend the existing contract through the end of this year, in order to allow negotiations continue and troubleshoot exceptional business.

"This is something that we've been working hard to avoid," said Lansing. "We are shocked and disappointed that AT&T U-verse rather deprives its customers to fan favorites such as HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, channel hob and great American country to continue to negotiate in good faith ".

The remaining problems involved in the negotiations revolve around AT&T U-verse requests to use video Scripps Networks – video that was created specifically for its networks of lifestyle and video that owns Scripps – in ways that go beyond the normal business practices.

"AT&T U-verse required overly broad video media rights emerging where business models have not yet been established," explained Lansing. "By accepting their requests would have retained our ability to deliver our content to our viewers in new and innovative ways.

HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network, cooking and GAC channel are available to viewers through every other provider cable, satellite and telecommunications. Lansing said that if AT&T U-verse decides to resume discussions, Scripps remains committed to pursue negotiations in good faith with a view to bringing its networks customers ATT U-verse.
