1000HD MC Monster 2 M Ultra High Speed HDTV HDMI cable 2 meter

HDMI puts incredible performance requirements on your digital A/V connections. It requires a truly great bandwidth that can bring enormous amounts of digital data without bit error and signal degradation. Monster created the Advanced HDMI 1000HD ultra High Speed Cable for those seeking the best in high definition home theater – both now and in the future. This cable is ideal for more advanced projectors and HDTVs, AV sources.Monster HDMI cables designs more advanced and certifies its performance for future product generations. If the performance features of this cable never be overcome by future generations of HDMI, Monster will replace this cable packaging of the product does not charge – see for more details.

1 star The usual Monster hype and lower results – for a price
Don't get me wrong: not only would I dare not wasting money on an HDMI cable at this price, but you would have to pay me to watch the video through a Monster product for more than a few seconds. Some reviewers here say that "digital is digital", there is no distortion thru any digital cable. Sorry, but this is false. If you think that the three digital numbers "1001100101111010 ?," 010 "111 10011 00101 and" 001 10 010111 1 010 ? are translated as "number one" by a DAC, you're mistaken. If you think 30AWG stranded Wire offers audio and video as clean as solid core wire 20AWG, you're mistaken again. If you think an HDMI soldier is so "good" as an HDMI connector designed crimp, you still wrong. If you think that cheap-gold connectors exceed titanium alloys/copper, you're so far behind you'll never catch up. And if the bit about silver-plating not touching a warning bell, you are desperate. Anyway, this atrocity Monster came as part of buying a relative of HDTV deal from a vendor Amazon-partner — "encyclopedia", if you don't count King's ransom paid for your TV. The cable has a lot of chroma noise. Red is especially loud and often bleeds the entire screen (this is a TV calibrated!); seems incapable of displaying a clean blue or yellow. Shades of meat look strange, and in general the colors seem to never "right". I have seen tests where impedance this premium video cable does not meet 100 ohms spec of HDMI. This certainly explains the horrible color. As usual with HDMI, there are a lot of smoothness over coaxial component good. Finally, the audio through this Monster is atrocious garbage; has a low midrange depressed, gooey and really mushy superior mid and treble soundstage with a simple, poor and channel separation without dimensionality in all. I got to give it away, but I wouldn't do something like a strange, much less to anyone I know. I replaced it with a [...] Chinese Cable from Amazon that I used for a couple of years. its color, acutance and audio are superior, though by design wireless HDMI at any price can beat the solid core coaxial.I still have a couple of s-video to dance circles around hype of HDMI, especially the Monster brand hype. You could say this product helps the environment by cleverly repackaging of industrial waste, but it is annoying to realize that so many people are suckers for appliances like this. Amazon has many other, HDMI cables, so avoid best listed but get your Monster HDMI JACK other offerings from Amazon.Unfortunately the mediocrity as this is selling so well becomes the norm.[...]

1 starWorks not better than a Coat hanger
If the image and sound are there for digital devices, then he is working. A blind-tests proved this:

1 starSnake Oil
I don't own this cable, but knowing that this company is pure snake oil, like all other cables with high prices are. Delight yourself with some knowledge and become well informed about the true physics of sound and visual signals:

1 starIf you buy this cable, congratulations you only lost $ 80
The digital signals are a long string of 1s and 0s. There is no 0.5. He is or its slack. There is absolutely no difference in quality of audio or video between this cable and a cheap $ 5 If you buy this cable, congratulations, you spend just $ 80. the same thing with DVI cables too.

This however, is not the case for analog cables as a component and s-video. these cables, once they are analog signals and continuous (discrete as DVI, HDMI), will benefit from higher quality cables.

5 stars Monster hdmi 1000hd
OK, I have used this cable my self and just bought another cable from a seller here at Amazon for $ 23.00 usd. at 23 people would be fools not to buy. look in cables used amazon are really new but won't allow them to sell as new there pricing. and how far an hdmi hdmi is another saying are fools. there are 4 reviews for hdmi cables so far. hdmi, hdmi 1.3a, hdmi 1.3B, 3 c 1. HDMI Jack. If you're like me audiophile. you a home theater will have this cable I have a denon dts-hd, dolby hd reciever. the cheap cables would sound encoded in hd but receiver sounded very loud muted. wasnt. then I put this guy in a wow what a difference .i tried 3 other hdmi cables I had to back the same results. think about it…You passed 300-1000 for a good receiver, 200-500 for a Blu-ray good, but you won't spend 23 dollars to buy a monster hdmi cable?is a Monster Cable, hence it will work perfectly with nice tight connections and extremely well built design. what other dont tell you is that cheap cables can come apart and connections can be loose. SO WHY WOULD YOU TAKE The CHANCE? not purchase cheat other reviewers a cheap cable is not so good I know this experimentation and ERRROR. however don't pay 100 bucks for this cable that is just foolish then Yes you are getting ripped off. ANOTHER question I have others OUT THERE IF YOU HAVE A SAMSUNG TV And when you turn IT ON THEN POWER UP YOUR DVR OR DVD BLU-RAY PLAYER And SOUND DOESNT WORK UNTIL you RESTART YOUR TV IT IS not your TV IT IS YOUR HDMI CABLE HDMI CABLE assembly NIKO.LOOSE back from TV causes THIS. BUY this CABLE And PROBLEM IS resolved.
