: hold your horses, Bubsy. While it seemed that there were but few is a dot and t to traverse before acquisition of Comcast's NBC Universal was official, people in high places are now shaking their heads in a recent decision by the carrier. As the story goes, Comcast and NBC Universal are still in talks with the Government over the proposed acquisition, and it seems that some threads were crossed in recent days; Comcast decided to announce a new management slate for NBC Universal a few days ago, despite the fact that the acquisition has not actually been lit in green. According to an internal report over at the New York Times, one unnamed official in Washington had this to say: "For a deal of this great and one that has not been approved, the behavior of Comcast is presumptuous and arrogant." Of course, it's not like this trigger-pulling in and of itself is reason for the whole thing to collapse, but certainly does not make things or society. So much for taking those new roles (and accompanying raises) before Turkey day, huh?
