Doesn't seem to be particularly widespread, but a substantial number of reports is cropping on the official Apple support forum of some issues pretty wild affecting the new Apple TV when coupled with some Sony and Philips TV. As you can see above, these problems may include a combination of rather unpleasant pastel (apparently common on TV Philips), while others are also reporting inverted colors and green or black screens. As for Apple, at least some users who contact the company on the issue say is aware of the problem, but early reports from those who have applied the Apple TV 2.1 update suggest that have not yet resolved the issue yet.
